Who we are

Grits, a four piece rock band based out of Dallas, Texas, is stepping into new territory - releasing their first album. From choral and marching band backgrounds, they started out playing covers at local gig venue Shady’s Burgers and Brewhaha and in high school talent shows. After almost two years of playing other peoples music, they've finally decided to write their own. Seth Eastman (singer/rhythm guitar) and Cooper Littlefield (lead guitar) have written dozens of songs in between classes and cover shows, patiently waiting for the right time to reveal them to the world. In conjunction with Josh Brown (drummer/keyboardist) and Jackson Maurer (bassist), Grits transformed their houses into recording studios. Over the course of seven days, they tracked their debut full-length album almost entirely live. Leatherbound, Grits’ debut album it out now on all platforms!
